This is a personal website. It does not sell anything and does not require an account. It does set cookies: Google Analytics, described below, writes first-party _ga cookies to your browser under this site’s domain so that repeat visits are recognised. Nothing here depends on them, so blocking or deleting them costs you nothing. The site also relies on a small number of other third-party services, and this page describes what each of them receives.
What this site collects directly
Nothing, except what you choose to send through the contact form. If you submit it, the name, email address and message you type — plus the optional project type, phone number and budget, if you fill them in — are delivered to me by email. They are not added to a mailing list and are not shared with anyone else.
Third-party services
Each of the services below receives your IP address and basic request information whenever a page loads, because your browser contacts them directly.
- Google Analytics — page-view and session analytics. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by using a browser that blocks it.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the site are fetched from Google’s servers, which means Google sees the request.
- Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise — protects the contact form from automated abuse. It collects hardware and software information and behavioural signals to distinguish people from bots. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Formspree — receives and forwards contact form submissions. See the Formspree privacy policy.
- Amazon CloudFront and S3 — host and serve this site. AWS records standard access logs.
Retention
Contact form messages are kept for as long as the conversation is useful and are deleted when it is not. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s defaults. I do not maintain any other store of visitor data.
Your choices
Analytics and reCAPTCHA are JavaScript, and neither runs with JavaScript disabled. The typefaces are not: they load as a stylesheet, so that request reaches Google whatever your JavaScript setting — a content blocker or a font-blocking extension is what prevents it. The pages are static and render either way, though the contact form will not submit without JavaScript. If you would rather not use the form at all, or you want anything you have sent removed, reach me through any of the profiles linked on the home page.

If this policy changes, the revised version appears here with a new date at the top.
